Description from the seller
Under a sky ablaze with evening hues, two silhouettes meet on a bridge. Their exchange, discreet but intense, suspends time: is it a declaration, a promise, the beginning of a bond or the weight of a secret?
The characters and the background, a discreet church, evoke the famous Millet painting, The Angelus, creating a bridge between tradition and contemporary reinterpretation. But here, the focus is on the mystery of this encounter: does the man reveal himself to this woman? Or do they share a moment of intimacy already sealed long ago?
The fiery leaves, carried by the wind, express the passage of seasons, the movement of life, and the fragility of precious moments. This oil work, vibrant and poetic, explores both the power of the landscape and the delicacy of human emotions.
The canvas has been selected for digital exhibitions, notably at Miami Art Week in 2023.
Yves is a French painter trained by a renowned professional artist during his adolescence, then in painting schools. Between 2021 and 2025, Yves consecutively received an artistic merit certificate for his creations from the prestigious Luxembourg Art Prize.
The canvas will be carefully packed by the artist himself to ensure its integrity during transport. An authenticity certificate will be issued after the canvas is received by the collector.
