A polychrome porcelain figurine group depicting a gallant couple, made in Germany by Ackermann und Fritze (attributed), circa 1930–1940, 16.5 cm wide, 10 cm deep and 16 cm high, with rococo styling and a hand-painted underglaze blue factory mark, in good used condition with minor signs of aging.

Porcelain figurative group of a gallant love couple - Sitzendorf, Germany - approx. 1910-1950
For sale: a beautifully detailed, antique porcelain group sculpture in refined Rococo style, produced by the renowned German porcelain factory Ackermann und Fritze.
The figurine depicts a gallant scene in which an elegantly dressed gentleman ceremoniously pays court to a seated lady. The piece stands out for its high-quality polychrome (multicolored) hand painting. Pay particular attention to the delicate facial expressions and the extremely refined floral pattern on the lady's hoop skirt.
The rocky pedestal is finished all around with gold accents. On the side of the pedestal lies the authentic, hand-applied factory mark in underglaze blue (crisscross lines with three parallel dashes). The underside is completely flat, closed and white.
