Vintage Driepoot kruk – In the style of Jean Prouvé, ca. 1950
A beautiful and original example of mid-century industrial design.
This iconic three-legged stool embodies the functional and minimalist aesthetics that are so characteristic.
This style of stool was designed and produced around 1950 for institutional use, including schools and universities.
Seat: Solid wooden seat with a beautiful, well-worn patina that accentuates the object's historical character.
Base: Three sturdy, slender legs of black-painted steel tubing, equipped with the original protective caps on the underside.
Minimalism: The three-legged design provides perfect stability and a timeless, industrial look.
The stool is in a nice, authentic vintage condition with visible signs of use commensurate with its age. The paint on the steel legs shows a naturally lived-in character (patina), which contributes to the charm and authenticity of this collectible object.
