The optics are clean, with no scratches or fungus.

The lens is in nice cosmetic condition, but has defects:

- Oil present on the diaphragm blades, therefore the diaphragm does not always close at the correct speed or properly.
- The rear diaphragm-actuation rod/lever on the back of the lens has play; perhaps a small spring has popped, preventing it from returning to its place.
