Antique French Pocket Watch – Lever Escapement – 10 Ruby Jewels – Working
Offered is an antique French open-face pocket watch dating to the late 19th century. The watch features a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock, and elegant blued steel hands.
The inner dust cover is engraved "Échappement à Ancre" (lever escapement) and "Dix Trous en Rubis", indicating a quality hand-wound mechanical movement fitted with ten ruby jewel holes. The movement displays traditional finger bridges and gilt finishing typical of French watchmaking of the period.
The watch is currently in working order. Timekeeping accuracy and service history are unknown.
