Description from the seller
Ad Snijders (1929 – 2010) was an Eindhoven-based artist, draftsman, collagist, and sculptor. He started drawing at the age of twelve, and he basically never stopped. His style can best be described as expressionist, figurative art.
Both Snijders’ themes and his way of working aligned with events in the time periods in which he worked. In that sense, his work was always current.
Ad Snijders’ work has been exhibited since 1957 in leading galleries and museums both domestically and abroad. For example, his work has been shown at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and several times at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven.
Dimensions: 150 x 60 cm
Viewings are of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framery, celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we use restorers from the professional association: Restauratoren Nederland. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
