Omega De Ville Automatic, reference 151.0039, circa 1970–1973, 36 mm jumbo stainless steel case, automatic Caliber 711 movement, silver tapestry dial, brown leather strap, very good condition with minor signs of wear, insured shipping, no box or papers.
Description from the seller
Splendid and elegant men's Omega De Ville Automatic watch, reference 151.0039, dating from the early 1970s. Serviced May 2026.
This model embodies perfectly the mastery of Swiss watchmaking of the era, combining a generous 'Jumbo' case by vintage standards with an ultra-slim profile. The piece d'état is the spectacular silver dial with vertical 'Tapestry' (guilloché) texture, which captures and reflects light exceptionally with every movement of the wrist.
Inside beats the famous Omega Caliber 711, renowned for being one of the thinnest automatic movements ever produced by the Swiss house (only 3 mm thick), designed specifically for high-class dress watches to do away with the seconds hand and maintain a clean and essential symmetry.
