MAP No. 3 typewriter, built by Manufacture d’Armes de Paris (MAP). On the left side a round FN logo, referring to FN Herstal (Fabrique Nationale d’Armes de Guerre) from Belgium. During the First World War FN set up MAP in France for the production of war matériel. After the war the factory shifted to, among other things, typewriters.

MAP No. 3 schrijfmachine, gebouwd door Manufacture d’Armes de Paris (MAP). Op de linkerzijde ronde FN-logo, dat verwijst naar FN Herstal (Fabrique Nationale d’Armes de Guerre) uit België. Tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog richtte FN in Frankrijk MAP op voor de productie van oorlogsmateriaal. Na de oorlog schakelde de fabriek over op onder meer schrijfmachines.
