Designed by Cees Braakman for UMS Pastoe in the 1960s, this original coffee table is a fine example of Dutch mid-century modern design. Known for his clean, functional designs, Braakman created the TH08 series with everyday practicality in mind.
The teak veneer has been professionally restored, bringing back its warm natural appearance while preserving the table's vintage character. The reversible tabletop features restored teak veneer on one side and a white Formica surface on the other, allowing you to easily change its look depending on the occasion.
The top is supported by a dark-stained solid wood frame with Braakman's characteristic A-frame legs and central cross stretcher, giving the table its timeless, architectural appearance.
Authenticity
This is an original Pastoe example retaining both the original maker's label and the branded screw cap on the leg frame.
