Paul Räth Relief-Erdglobus, Leipzig - 1st half 20th c. - 1930/19

Rare relief terrestrial globe (Relief-Erdglobus), published by Paul Räth G.m.b.H., Leipzig, during the first half of the 20th century under the direction of Professor Dr. Arthur Krause. Measuring 33 cm in diameter and approximately 70 cm in height, it features detailed physical cartography in German with finely modelled relief that gives remarkable depth to the representation of the world's major mountain ranges. The globe has retained a beautiful original patina and shows only minor age-related wear and light surface marks, entirely consistent with its age, while preserving its excellent readability and outstanding decorative presence.
