Made in Japan
Very nice and well-made fully automatic turntable from Sony
The record starts automatically with one press of a button, and the tonearm returns automatically to the resting position at the end of the record
The turntable is in very good condition; this is a very well-preserved example
The turntable features a very accurate speed monitoring system that uses a 5-pin magnetic pickup and a pulse coating on the edge of the platter for electronic speed measurement
Nice clear dust cover without scratches or damage, only minor signs of use
The hinges are still in good condition; the cover opens and stays in the proper position as it should
Plays nicely constant and stable thanks to the linear BSL motor
Equipped with pitch control for precise fine adjustment of the speed and a strobe
Statically balanced J-shaped tonearm with adjustable tracking force and anti-skating compensation. Fitted with the original Sony VL-37G cartridge with a good original ND-137G stylus
The player comes with the original 45 rpm adapter for playing 7" singles
