Description from the seller

A stunning and very rare, complete 12-piece set of solid silver oyster forks from the well-known Dutch manufacturer Gero Zeist. The forks are executed in the iconic Palmet model (Art Deco style), recognizable by the elegant, fan-shaped pattern on the handles. The head of the forks features gracefully flared outer tines, specifically designed to easily and neatly cut and scoop oysters. While most Palmet cutlery parts were produced in silver-plated form or Zilmeta (stainless steel) at the time, this is an exclusive solid silver version.

Specifications:

Quantity: 12 pieces (complete set)
Length: 11 cm per fork
Material: Solid silver (.835) – second-quality Dutch silver
Total weight: 126 grams (net approx. 105.2 grams of pure silver)
Model: Palmet (Model 604)
Manufacturer: Gero (Zeist, The Netherlands)
Hallmarks: .835 fineness mark, Dutch sword mark and Gero maker's mark present on the back.
Included: Original antique case with luxurious blue lining.

The forks are in excellent vintage condition with a beautiful silver sheen. The original storage box has perfectly protected the set over the years. A unique opportunity for the collector of fine silverware or as a luxurious addition to a festive table!
