The set is made of fine porcelain, with a splendid iridescent, mother-of-pearl finish that gives the pieces a delicate lustre. The set often features fluted edges and is associated with makers such as Seltmann Weiden or Winterling. Each saucer is accompanied by its cup with the same scene decoration.
