Embroidered ecclesiastical band / stole. Richly executed in cross-stitch with polychrome decoration. The band is adorned with repeating geometric and floral motifs in cream, green, red, burgundy and light blue. In several places, medallions are applied with a Christogram in gold-colored letters on a red background, alternating with large round ornaments in light blue and gold.
Originates from a church interior or liturgical vestment (stole, maniple or decorative altar textile). High-quality craftsmanship with a symmetrical pattern along the full length.
