Bedside table lamp - Metal, Brass, Plastic - Rare Mid-Century Lamp

Table/ bedside lamp Mid-Century Modern – FRG (West Germany) – ca. 1960s.

Original table or bedside lamp from West Germany (FRG), dated to circa 1955–1965.

The model is produced in the characteristic Mid-Century Modern and Atomic Age design of the era. The lamp features a perforated metal shade in cream color with brass decorative elements. When lit, it creates an impressive play of light and shadow thanks to the decorative perforations.

The adjustable shade is mounted on the original ball joint, allowing the direction of light to be changed.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Visible are normal signs of use and aging in line with the item’s age. The lamp is functional, and its condition is best reflected by the attached photographs which form an integral part of the description.

A beautiful example of West German lighting design from the Mid-Century Modern period, serving both as a functional light source and a decorative element of the interior.
