Elgin National Watch Company pocket watch, circa 1910, with manual wind movement, a silver-plated metal case, reference number 16775669, case diameter over 50 mm, lug width 6 cm, weight 189 g, in good condition with signs of wear and in working order.
Description from the seller
An interesting silver-plated pocket watch, built by Elgin Nat'l Watch Co., Illinois, USA, circa 1910. Working.
Despite its age, its overall condition is good.
White porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals (two very small hairlines), seconds dial at 6 o'clock.
A gold ring next to the dial. Original blued-steel hands, mineral glass, original, domed case back, enriched with a beautiful deer and floral scrolls in 14 kt gold.
To access the movement, unscrew the glass ring, lift the winding crown, and the mechanism will flip open. Do the reverse to close. To wind the watch, lightly press the crown and turn.
Movement: very nice, clean and engraved, bearing the inscription "Elgin Nat'l. Watch Co. U.S.A. No. 16775669".
Inevitably there are some signs due to age and wear, which do not compromise the integrity of the item. The photos are an integral part of the description.
No shipping to the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Any fees and customs duties are the buyer's responsibility. Tracked shipping.
