Highlights are the new high-end top-tonearm Ortofon OMB and the accompanying new Ortofon 5E playback needle, its ultralight 8.6 g 1D aluminum tonearm, its high-quality Cinch connection cable with gold-plated RCA Cinch plugs for excellent signal transmission and sound reproduction, the 16-pin high-quality DC synchronous motor, four-point spring-mounted, for extreme run-quiet and precise constant speed, the weight-balanced tonearm which is suspended in a gimbal, two hardened stainless steel tips bearing the inverted horizontal tonearm bearings in sapphire, and the manually adjustable anti-skating with side-hanging adjustable pendulum counterweight, the elegant wood chassis made from highly dense wood fiber in piano lacquer matt black, the exact belt drive with acceleration coupling for a smooth start-up, speed change by simply moving the drive belt onto the pulley located beneath the platter, drive belt is new, the 1.3 kg heavy platter made from a high-quality sandwich construction of Subplatter and satinized black stainless steel, the platter bearing consists of a sintered-bronze bushing in which a high-precision stainless steel shaft runs on a polished steel ball, the antistatic felt platter mat, the vibration-damping chassis with high mass inertia, and the corresponding mounted special feet for optimal isolation and footfall damping, isolated power supply to protect against mechanical and electromagnetic interference, yielding a sound-neutral playback of the vinyl content.
Power/signal cables and high-quality RCA Cinch cables with gold-plated RCA plugs for near-lossless signal transmission are integrated.

Adjustable speeds by switching the drive belt: 33 RPM and 45 RPM.

For safe raising and lowering of the tonearm, the finely damped tonearm lift ensures smooth operation.
