Taking a unique path in the world of urban aesthetics since 1997, Portuguese visual artist Ram (1976) has developed a singular visual language that fuses the performative vigor of action painting with the rawness of graffiti and the visionary nature of psychedelic art. Celebrated as a creator of visionary worlds that express humanity’s primordial desire to explore the vast unknown of both the cosmos and the mind, Ram’s energetic and harmonious bursts of color give rise to fantastic realities governed by the dynamic and primordial forces of nature. Working both indoors and outdoors, he has materialized his artistic intuitions across a plurality of media: from the intimate detail of watercolor paintings to the manifest grandeur of large-scale murals, from conceptual installations to interdisciplinary performances. Considered one of the most innovative artists on the global contemporary urban art scene, he has participated in countless festivals and art events around the world and regularly showcases his work in solo and group exhibitions.

Created "Last Man Standing" in 2004 when he painted it inside an old factory in Lisbon, it quickly became one of the icons of Portuguese Street Art worldwide with very powerful meaning and symbolism.

From the Portuguese scene Ram has painted with all the names you can search: Nomen, Goncalo Mar, Utopia, Vhils, Odeith, Bray1, Klit, Mais Menos and the list can go back to the good old days of Old Gold Graffiti up to the present day.

From 2002 to today, the artist has created installations, murals, and canvases that are acquired by galleries and collectors worldwide and has produced countless graffiti commissions for all kinds of brands and companies.
