The slingshots or stone throwers, or also POTOMO WAKA, as the BAULÉ call them, are carved and used by various ethnic groups: BAULE, SENÚFO, LOBI, BOBO, DOGON, etc.
They are utilitarian objects whose function is essentially to bring down akpanui or bats. These, once smoked, delight the gastronomic tastes of these people.
