Elegant ceramic sculpture of a stylized pheasant, executed in a refined French Art Deco / early Mid-Century style. The graceful, flowing lines and the subtle anatomical detailing give the object a powerful and decorative appearance.

The sculpture is finished with a beautiful ivory-colored craquelé glaze, which nicely accentuates the sculptural form. The underside is open and bears the impressed model number 23. There is no factory mark or signature, making the maker unknown.
