This object is a vintage Masonic triangular pulley and block-and-tackle demonstration model, resembling historical educational or ritual apparatus produced by outfitters such as Pobjoy of London.

*In Freemasonry, a triangular frame (tripod) with a pulley and block-and-tackle system represents strength, human ingenuity, and the operative tool known as a lewis used to lift heavy stones.

Three poles joined at the top form a stable triangular structure to bear massive weight safely.
A system of ropes and pulleys that creates a mechanical advantage, allowing a single person to lift heavy loads.
An iron cramp inserted into a carved hole in the top of a stone block, which grips tightly under the tension of the pulley system.
**Symbolic Meanings in the Craft
Symbol of Strength: Found on traditional Entered Apprentice tracing boards, it demonstrates how cooperative effort and mechanical advantage achieve what brute human force cannot.
The "Lewis" Metaphor: Just as an operative lewis helps lift heavy stones into a building, an uninitiated son of a Mason (traditionally called a Lewis) is expected to bear the burdens and support his aging father.

**Missing or Incorrect Address Parcels:**
Parcels with missing or incorrect addresses will be returned to me. This process may take up to a month, and only a resend to the buyer will be possible if the full postage fees are paid.
