Elegant artistic reproduction of an 18th-century pharmacy balance, made exclusively for Novartis by Creazioni Kobelli Art Foundry (Monza, Italy).

The specimen faithfully reproduces a historic balance from the old Würzburg pharmacy, dating to the late 18th century, of which the original is kept at the Deutsches Apotheker Museum in Heidelberg.

The balance is crafted in chased brass and artisanal workmanship following the Italian tradition, with a solid wood base finely finished. It features a rich decorative apparatus with female figures at the ends of the beam and the caduceus symbol at the center, an iconic element of the pharmacy.
