This is the vintage Nikon Ai NIKKOR 200mm f/4 (Serial: 753909), originally released in 1977.
Known for its solid metal build and excellent sharpness, this telephoto lens is a great choice for portrait and nature photography.

・Appearance: Very Good Vintage Condition.
There are some slight scratches and scuffs due to its age, but overall it is a very clean item. There are no major dents or heavy damages.

・Functional: Good Working Order (Offered as a Practical Shooter).
The helicoid (focus ring) moves smoothly without any issues.
Please note: There is a slight oil stain on some of the aperture blades. Although the blades currently open, close, and return snappily without any operational issues, this lens is offered as a "Practical Shooter" due to the presence of this oil.

Although this item is listed as a practical shooter due to the aperture blades, the optical condition itself is EXCELLENT.
No fungus and no haze at all—the glass is remarkably clean and crystal clear with only very minor dust normal for its age. My practical test on a digital mirrorless camera (Sony NEX-3) confirmed that it produces beautifully sharp images with no negative impact whatsoever.
