The Mordaunt Short Avant 908i is a strikingly slim and elegant floorstanding speaker with a hidden secret. Thanks to a large, built-in 25 cm subwoofer on the side—side-firing woofer—this speaker combines an extremely sleek front view with room-filling, deep bass. This makes a separate subwoofer in the living room unnecessary. The midrange and treble are handled by the distinctive silver-colored aluminum CPC (Continuous Profile Cone) at the front, which provides a very dynamic, clear, and detailed sound image.
