Wall decorative mirrors belonging to the series "The Times of the Day" by the painter Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) in the year 1899. One of the most representative series of the Art Nouveau style. In this lot - "Reverie du Soir" "Eveil du Matin" "Repos de la Nuit, Eclat du Jour". Signed in the lower right corner: "Mucha 99". Each of them is set in a natural environment and is surrounded by a decorative, intricate frame that resembles a Gothic window.
Alphonse Mucha saw the woman and femininity as a counterpoint to the coldness of the industrial revolution!
Large, rare, and beautiful mirrors full of color and luminosity for a worthy collector.
It is important to note that these are original pieces from the decade between 1950 and 1959, when the Art Nouveau fashion resurfaced in Europe.
