Decorative ornament - Three Ornately Chased Miao Silver Hair Combs

This set of three hand-forged and chased silver hair combs are traditional artefacts of China’s Miao ethnic tribe. Executed with relief carving techniques, the collection comprises a phoenix-motif handled comb, an artistic wing-shaped comb, and a scroll-floral handled comb.

Every design originates from traditional Miao auspicious iconography, showcasing rustic yet intricate hand craftsmanship. These combs fulfil two functions: everyday hair grooming and ornamental adornment for styled updos, encapsulating the rich auspicious symbolism rooted within Miao folk culture.

This traditional Miao hair comb bears a stamped Chinese "Zu Yin" hallmark. Please note that no material authenticity test has been carried out for this item.
