This unique light object "Corail XL" was designed in a Berlin design studio and 3D printed using a computational process.
The pendant lamp is made of a matte red (Ferrari red) biopolymer based on corn starch and is biodegradable / environmentally friendly according to DIN EN ISO 14588. The material is sturdy, waterproof, and easy to clean.
The design casts a shadow from bottom to top, resulting in a play of colors (see images).
