Fernet Branca branded Plexiglas wall clock with a teardrop shape and colorful artwork of an eagle above the globe, quartz movement, infinite power reserve, good used condition with minor signs of aging, made in France and dating to 1970–1980, dimensions 35 x 26 x 3 cm, weight 0.5 g, back stamp Publideal – Talence.
Description from the seller
Beautiful promotional Fernet Branca wall clock, made of plexiglass with a distinctive teardrop shape, featuring colorful graphics that depict the iconic eagle in flight over the globe. In the center the inscription “FERNET BRANCA” crosses the composition, making the object a perfect example of vintage collectible advertising.
Fernet Branca was born in Milan in 1845 by Bernardino Branca as a digestive tonic based on 27 herbs. Its bitter and bold taste soon made it famous in Italy and around the world, especially in Argentina. Symbol of the eagle gripping the globe, it became an advertising icon. Today it is still produced by the Branca family, custodian of the secret recipe. An timeless classic of bitter liqueur.
Material: Plexiglas
Movement: I believe quartz, and I think the clock mechanism from that era has been replaced (works with battery, functioning).
Conditions: good overall condition with signs of wear and small missing pieces at the bottom (visible in the photo)
Brand on the back: “Publideal – Talence”, a company specialized in promotional items
Ideal for collectors of promotional objects, vintage decor, or to give a retro touch to bars, kitchens, or venues.
