The Chokwe headrest is a traditional wooden object carved by the Chokwe people, mainly present in Angola and the southern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

It was used to support the head during sleep and to preserve elaborate hairstyles. Some headrests also had symbolic value and served as prestige objects, particularly among chiefs. They could be adorned with representations of humans or animals.
