The chassis and body of the locomotive are metal.
Universal locomotive with Delta electronics. Runs with Märklin transformers, in the Märklin Delta system and in the Märklin Digital system (Motorola format).
Three-light front signal that changes with direction.
Power supply switchable to overhead line.
Märklin couplings in standardized sockets with spring guidance.
Era 3
LAG 1 to 5 were five largely similar electric locomotives of the local railway Aktien-Gesellschaft (LAG). After the nationalization of LAG on August 1, 1938 to the German Reichsbahn (DR) the locomotives were designated E 69 01-05.
LAG 2 (later the E69 02) was put into service in August 1909; delivery companies were Krauss and SSW. Externally, it was very similar to LAG 1 and it also had the same current collector, only the cabs were slightly higher for the much more powerful motors.
