Orientalist brass table lamp, chased, repoussé and pierced – Geometric and floral motifs – Mid-20th century. Solid-brass base hand-decorated with lobed-arch panels enclosing relief floral motifs, alternating with finely pierced openwork sections bearing a lozenge geometric pattern and a scale-worked shoulder. Typical of high Middle Eastern or North African craftsmanship (Morocco, Egypt or Syria). The lamp is 90 cm tall including the lampshade. The lamp alone is about 60 cm tall. It weighs about 4.5 kg. The shade is replaceable. The base footprint is about 30 cm.
