After completing his academic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Palermo, Svnder has devoted himself to painting with a focus on realism and hyperrealism. His work traces its roots to classical techniques, yet it is guided by a contemporary sensibility that lends poetic depth to every subject. His works explore the emotional weight of silence, stillness, and identity through precise, meticulous execution.
After formal training, he traveled across Europe and the rest of the world, immersing himself in different artistic cultures and traditions to further refine his technique and broaden his creative vision. The subjects of his works range from religious scenes and sacred figures reinterpreted in a contemporary key, to portraits with strong emotional impact, passing through mythological creatures, fallen angels, saints, martyrs, and allegorical figures. Each composition is built as an image suspended in time, where light and darkness, body and spirit, sacred and profane coexist in a dramatic and deeply human balance.
