For the collector, enthusiast or investor we offer an exceptionally rare Porsche Diesel AP17 from 1950. This legendary model occupies an extremely important place in Porsche's history as the very first model released to the market after the historic collaboration between Ferdinand Porsche and the Allgaier factory, from which the iconic 'AP' designation also originates. Introduced in 1950, this pioneering model ushered in the era of the innovative, air-cooled Porsche diesel engines. The AP17 brought advanced technology to agriculture, including a weight-saving construction of light metal (aluminium alloy) for the engine block and the transmission housing. This specific 1950 example represents the first, purest series of this historic design, which at the time laid the blueprint for Porsche-Diesel's later success.

The tractor has been completely disassembled down to the last bolt, thoroughly sandblasted and then professionally repainted in a high-quality two-component paint. Thanks to this thorough and skilled approach, the paint remains in a beautiful, glossy condition with a professional finish. To make the whole package complete and immediately usable, the tractor is fitted with four brand-new tires around.
TECHNICAL
The tractor is equipped with the characteristic and reliable air-cooled two-cylinder diesel engine, producing 18 hp. During the 2020 restoration, the tractor was not only visually updated but also technically fully revised. The entire wiring was renewed and a completely new electrical system was installed. In addition, the mechanicals feature a new starter motor, a new dynamo and a fresh battery, ensuring the tractor is in excellent and reliable mechanical condition.
DOCUMENTS
