This Jaguar E-Type 4.2L Series 2 cabriolet (OTS) from 1970 is a carefully restored example in very neat condition. A classic with a strong presence. An attractive and complete specimen for the enthusiast.
Body and paintwork
The car is fully nuts-and-bolts restored and in well-kept, neat condition. The body is tight and the paint in Opalescent Silver Grey has a deep lustre. The chrome work is in well-kept condition and the car is equipped with recently renewed chrome wire wheels, complete with new tyres all around.
Technical condition
The 4.2-litre inline-six engine runs smoothly and powerfully. The manual transmission shifts nicely and the brakes, suspension and steering operate as expected for a well-maintained E-Type. The car has matching numbers and an odometer reading of 87,989 miles. Equipped with Dutch registration and tax-ready for the road.
Interior condition
The interior has been retrimmed in high-quality black leather and is in very neat condition. The finish is well executed with attention to originality. The black mohair soft-top sits well and is also in excellent condition.
