Description from the seller
A luminous and vibrant painting that captures the whole poetry of Lake Garda on a sunny day. From the top of a flowery path, the gaze opens to a cove with crystal-clear waters, painted with shades ranging from emerald turquoise to deep blue, where two elegant sailboats reflect placidly on the surface, rippled only by a gentle movement.
In the foreground, a cascade of bright red bougainvillea frames the scene, while lower down flower-filled hedges of yellows and ochres accompany a path that leads down to the shore, suggesting the intimate and curated atmosphere of the gardens that dot the lake’s shores. In the background, the coast stretches softly between light-colored houses and hills, until it meets the mountains faded on the horizon, beneath a blue sky animated by soft white clouds.
The expedition will take place after August 16.
