Description from the seller
Audemars Piguet Eighth Chronograph Automatic Ref. BA25644 – 18 kt Gold
Important Audemars Piguet Eighth Chronograph Automatic, reference BA25644, made in 18 kt yellow gold. The watch stands out for its elegant and substantial 41 mm case, with an Audemars Piguet signed bezel, solid gold case back and refined original ivory dial. The dial features three chronograph sub-dials, external tachymeter scale, date at 3 o’clock, applied hour markers and blued hands, all original.
Movement is automatic, caliber Audemars Piguet 2126, with 51 jewels and about 40 hours power reserve. The watch is in perfect working order: the chronograph starts, stops and resets correctly, and the date change function also operates normally. Precision has not been verified.
The case, case back and bezel show slight signs of use, consistent with the age and wear of the watch. The sapphire crystal has no visible scratches or chips. Fitted with the original brown Audemars Piguet strap, with original buckle. Lug width: 20 mm. Maximum wrist length: about 20.5 cm. Gross weight of the watch: 79.3 g.
Included is a one-year warranty certificate issued by Audemars Piguet Service in 2005. The original box is not present.
Elegant and impressive watch, belonging to the Audemars Piguet Classique line, with a refined combination of yellow gold, ivory dial, and chronograph details. Unknown provenance.
