Chess set - Maria Estuardo XXL - Bronze

The pieces are the Mary Stuart set by Marinakis Bros, a Greek manufacturer of high quality. The pieces are made of bronze and gilded in gold and silver. They are large in size, the king is 10 cm tall, the pawn 6 cm, the knight 9 cm, with a base diameter of 3.5 cm for all of them. They are very heavy, the king weighs 400 g and the pawn 100 g, for a total weight of the set of about 7 kg!!!!!

The board is a bronze slab, very original, with dimensions 45 cm long, 45 cm wide and 2 cm thick, with feet.

The combination of these pieces in gold and silver, on the bronze board, creates a set with a beautiful visual effect, but judge for yourself based on the extensive photographic coverage.
