GENERAL
Discover this rare and deep red Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible from the 1988 model year. This example is an exclusive Hess & Eisenhardt edition with an extremely low mileage of only 41,000 original miles (about 64,000 kilometers). The car comes from its third owner, a private collector from the dry desert of Arizona who has cherished the vehicle for the past twenty years and driven it little. The Hess & Eisenhardt conversion is renowned for its unique, sleek roof line with the hardtop fully recessed into the body. It is a rare collectible with enormous value potential.
BODYWORK & PAINTWORK
Thanks to long-term dry storage in the Arizona climate, the bodywork is excellently preserved and hard. The deep red paint has a beautiful look, although there are light cosmetic signs of use due to the long period of inactivity around it. The car is equipped with chrome bumpers with twin exhaust tips, sport wheels, heat-insulating glass, and already upgraded H4 headlights. The fabric of the soft top shows signs of aging with a few repair spots, but the top operates fully hydraulically.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Under the long hood lies the legendary 5.3-liter V12 engine paired with a smoothly shifting automatic transmission. The engine runs well and the car drives superbly. The vehicle is richly equipped with power steering, power brakes, cruise control, a tachometer, and a trip odometer. Both in the trunk space and under the hood, everything appears exceptionally clean and well maintained.
INTERIOR
The interior exudes the luxury of a classic English GT and features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an adjustable steering column, a center armrest, and interior lighting.
