Description from the seller
Forest Waters
from the series Architecture of the Forest
The series Architecture of the Forest explores the tree as a structural element of the landscape. Beyond its naturalistic representation, trunks, canopies and clearings are organized as an organic architecture that defines space, directs the gaze, and builds the visual rhythm of each composition. The forest ceases to be a background and becomes the true protagonist of the work.
The compositions develop through the layering of planes, verticals, and color masses that generate depth and atmosphere. Light threads through the vegetal forms, revealing open spaces, paths, reflections, and horizons that appear and disappear within the density of the landscape. Each element participates in a balance where structure and nature merge into a single pictorial construction.
Color plays an essential role in organizing space. The chromatic variations model light, distance, and the sense of volume, while the visible brushwork adds dynamism and reinforces the expressive character of each surface. Thus, the forest is transformed into a territory built from painting, where reality is interpreted through form, rhythm, and atmosphere.
In Architecture of the Forest, nature reveals itself as a living structure in constant transformation. Each work invites us to contemplate the landscape from a contemporary perspective, where light, color, and the organization of space turn the forest into a visual experience of calm, depth, and contemplation.
