A legendary collaboration:
Following the enormous success of the Seiko 5 Sports Brian May edition in 2020, the Japanese brand and the legendary Queen guitarist team up for the second chapter.
Inspired by the "Red Special":
The dial recreates the fine details of the legendary guitar with a pressed pattern that recalls the wood texture, its glossy finish, and the shaded color.
The gold color of the case was personally requested by Brian, inspired by the "Gold Series", the reissue of his solo albums.
The story behind the guitar:
For over 40 years, Brian has worn a Seiko diver’s watch whose design inspired the latest Seiko 5 Sports collection. Brian bought his Seiko during the first Japan tour in the ’70s. Since then, his guitar and his watch have travelled the world together — making great music and keeping perfect time.

Seiko will donate a portion of the proceeds from selling this timepiece to the Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity founded by Brian May, Roger Taylor, and Queen manager Jim Beach, in memory of Freddie Mercury, to fund the fight against HIV/AIDS worldwide.
