Luca Cartoonist, birth name Luca Angelini, born in 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. He has always loved comics (Disney in particular), and he graduated in advertising graphics at the Artistic Institute of Ascoli Piceno, then completed his artistic studies with a degree in comics and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different professional path (still artistic), until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art. He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting and placing them within current situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today. He primarily uses acrylic paints, spray cans, and mixed printing and collage techniques on canvas. Since 2021, he has collaborated with several Italian art galleries, and his works have been shown at events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and in some collective exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…).
