Louis Erard Excellence Régulateur Classico, reference case 201, in excellent condition.
Ideal for collectors of accessible and refined Swiss complications.
Model history: Louis Erard (founded 1852, Swiss Jura) is a pioneer of the wrist Regulator since the 1980s, modifying the ETA 7001 with the in-house RE9 module for the iconic vertical layout (hours decentered, minutes central, seconds at 6). The Excellence line celebrates the 80th anniversary (2011), making this classic complication inspired by tower clocks accessible.
Technical data
Case: polished stainless steel
Diameter 40 mm, lug-to-lug 48 mm, slim 9 mm thickness
Dial: white, subdial hours at 12 o'clock, sub-second indicator, central minute hand, baton indices and the logo "Régulateur"
Hands: black with blue reflections, minute scale, 2 counters: hours and continuous seconds.
Movement manual ETA 7001 (17 jewels, 21,600 A/h), runs perfectly and accurately, see chrono comparator photo.
Caseback closed with inscriptions "Stainless Steel Sapphire Crystal 5 ATM Swiss Made"
Brown original leather strap signed Louis Erard, steel pin buckle.
Complete with generic box, no papers.
