Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1300 Sprint, a 1960 model.
Description from the seller
Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1300 Sprint from 1960
Italian elegance and pure driving pleasure – an icon from the golden years of Alfa Romeo.
GENERAL
For sale: a rare and exceptionally well-preserved Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1300 Sprint from 1960. This car embodies the true spirit of Italian elegance and sportiness. Designed by Bertone and beloved for its timeless lines, refined driving characteristics, and authentic character.
This Giulietta was delivered new on May 5, 1960 in Padua (Italy) and came to the Netherlands in 1998. Since then, the car has been cherished by only two Dutch owners. The vehicle has always been stored in a heated garage and is exclusively maintained by the renowned Alfa Romeo specialist Wim Prins from Nunspeet, who knows the full history of the car.
BODYWORK & PAINT
The bodywork is in excellent, rust-free condition and retains its original appearance. The Alfa Rosso paint is splendid and highlights the classic elegance of the design. There are no scratches or damage visible. The rear bumper consists of three parts; the outer sections can be rechromed in time to perfect the overall look.
MECHANICAL
The 1300 cc four-cylinder engine with a 2-barrel Solex carburetor delivers smooth, reliable performance. In 2006, a five-speed manual gearbox was installed, significantly improving the driving characteristics. The engine runs quietly, and the gearbox shifts as cleanly and precisely as one would expect from a well-maintained classic.
Recently, major maintenance has been carried out, including the installation of a new stainless steel exhaust system with a manifold. The indicated mileage is 12,558 km. Technically, this Giulietta is in excellent condition and is ready to drive.
INTERIOR
The interior exudes the atmosphere of the sixties, with stylish red-beige upholstery that beautifully complements the Alfa Rosso exterior. The dashboard and instruments are fully original. The authentic 1960 radio is still present, but is currently not functioning and can be serviced. The interior is otherwise in very well-kept and original condition.
DOCUMENTS
The car comes with a full service history, original manuals, and an appraisal report from August 12, 2022, in which replacement value is set at €65,000. All documentation is present and well-organized.
PICKUP & EXPORT
The car is immediately available and can be collected by arrangement.
For sales outside the Netherlands we can arrange export documents. If desired, transport abroad can also be organized by us.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1300 Sprint represents everything car enthusiasts value about the classic Italian automotive industry: elegance, character, and pure driving pleasure.
An excellent choice for participation in vintage rallies, sunny tours, or as a valuable addition to a collection.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
