This remarkable set stands out for a refined decoration of gallant scenes inspired by the 18th century, surrounded by a rich gilded border and delicate gilded floral motifs. It also includes a superb fish service, with plates and the large dish adorned with naturalistic décors representing different species of fish.
The finesse of the porcelain, the quality of the decoration, and the excellent condition testify to the know-how of the prestigious Haviland factory of Limoges.

Condition
Very good state of preservation.
According to the owning family, the service has been used only two or three times. The porcelain retains all its brilliance, the gilding is remarkably preserved, and the decorations are very fresh.
No restorations have been observed. The very light signs of use are consistent with the age of the set.
Notes
Haviland services of this quality, kept with their complete fish service, their matching coffee service, and the large display pieces, are today difficult to find.
This service will suit both a Limoges porcelain collector and a lover of French tableware.
