Description from the seller

The box has a gilded surface with lacquer paint and detailed paintings in a rococo style, typical of Birmingham (England) around 1800-1850. The interior is also lacquered and then glazed over, and there is a small key lock present (the key is stuck: the lock closes, but the key does not turn loose – common with antique locks due to rust or wear).

Small summary:
This is a 19th-century hand-painted box from England, Birmingham, around 1800-1850 in rococo style.

Carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
