An old/antique analog ammeter mounted in a characteristic wooden demonstration enclosure.
These kinds of meters were widely used in physics classrooms and laboratories in the mid-20th century to visually illustrate electric current for students. The sturdy wooden stand could stand upright on a demonstration table so the whole class could see the needle move.
