Vintage hand-carved Anglo-Indian side table with inlay?

Beautiful and distinctive vintage Oriental folding table from India, dating from the second half of the 20th century. The table is entirely made of wood and richly decorated with detailed floral and geometric woodcarving. In the center of the round tabletop there is a refined inlaid pattern (inlay).

The base consists of three openwork, hinged legs that are decorated with woodcarving. The tabletop sits loose on the base, allowing the base to be folded completely flat for compact storage or transport. Ideal to use as a stylish side table, wine table, or plant stand in a bohemian or eclectic interior.

In good vintage condition with normal signs of aging and wear appropriate to its age.

Prachtige en karakteristieke vintage Oosterse klaptafel uit India, daterend uit de tweede helft van de 20ste eeuw. De tafel is volledig vervaardigd uit hout en rijkelijk versierd met gedetailleerd floraal en geometrisch houtsnijwerk. In het centrum van het ronde tafelblad bevindt zich een verfijnd ingelegd patroon (inlay).

het onderstel bestaat uit drie opengewerkte, scharnierende poten die met houtsnijwerk zijn gedecoreerd. Het tafelblad ligt los op de basis, waardoor het onderstel volledig plat kan worden ingeklapt voor compacte opberging of transport. Ideaal te gebruiken als sfeervolle bijzettafel, wijntafeltje of plantenstandaard in een Bohemien of eclectisch interieur.

In goede vintage staat met normale ouderdoms- en gebruikssporen, passend bij de leeftijd.
