Classic 5.1-channel home theater audio/video receiver from around 1999. This reliable amplifier is known for its faithful sound reproduction thanks to Yamaha's "Natural Sound" philosophy.
Due to its powerful built-in DAC and phono input, highly valued for stereo and vintage surround setups.
- Power: 5 x 65 Watts RMS (at 8 Ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz with only 0.04% THD).
In stereo mode it delivers 70 Watts per channel.
- Surround formats: Built-in decoders for Dolby Digital (AC-3) and DTS Surround, plus various Yamaha DSP simulations.
- Audio inputs: Equipped with digital optical and coaxial inputs. Also features a dedicated Phono input (MM) for turntables.
- Radio (RDS): Built-in FM/AM tuner with full support for the Radio Data System (RDS) and 40 preset stations.
