Description from the seller

Elegant and refined late-Victorian crumb scoop, made in Sheffield (England) by the renowned manufacturer Roberts & Belk. This historic table utensil stands out for a splendid blade finely engraved by hand with naturalistic motifs typical of nineteenth-century naturalist taste, depicting fern leaves, ivy, and interwoven branches. The handle features a precious geometric inlay in ivory or antique bone (with a beautiful and authentic patina of age), connected to the blade by a silver collar decorated in relief with finely worked bead motifs and a geometric ring of floral passementerie.
