Chandelier - Brass - Balloon chandelier

A chandelier so-called “balloon” or “basket” in Empire style.
It is a classic model with a ring structure in chased gilded brass, chains of octagonal crystal that descend from the upper crown and a lower “belly” rich in prisms (almonds and final pine cones).
It features three side arms for visible lights with faux candles for the bulbs.
An Italian piece from the mid-20th century (1940s/1960s) made in the style of the classic Napoleon-era chandeliers of the nineteenth century.
